Photography, since its inception, has been used to show the beauty of the world around us, as well as document the lives of our brothers and sisters, in both the best and worst of circumstances. Many famous photographers over the decades have used their talents in the field of social and environmental justice to help improve the lives and conditions of many for the greater good.

We believe that the impact of photography can encourage philanthropy throughout our community, state and nation. We also believe that there are so many in need, both within our nation and abroad. However, to be the most efficient at this time, we will FOCUS our efforts within our borders. As the saying goes “Charity begins at home.”

Art and artists have always been philanthropic by their very nature. So, as a society of photographic artists this group will be called upon to use their efforts and abilities to expose, aid and bring an awareness of the needs of the world around us!

Your photographic services for the not-for-profit agencies, your involvement in our special projects and participation in our various exhibitions will demonstrate your volunteerism and desire for charitable giving.
